Earl Jackson Jr is professor of Cinema Studies at Korean National University of the Arts, author of Strategies of Deviance, and numerous articles. Contributed to the script for the film Viewfinder (Kim Jeong, 2009), which premiered at Pusan International Film Festival. He is the Co-director (with Kim Soyoung) of the Trans-Asia Screen Cultures Institute.
