Saraswathy is an art historian, art writer and a pedagogue, involved in writing academic and popular formats of writing about visual culture since last half a decade. Her concerns involve interdisciplinary and interventional abilities of static and mobile visuals in and around us. She holds a Bachelors degree in painting and a Masters in Art History and teaches in the department of art history at the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore. She is also a trained classical dancer and painter.
