Subhajit Chatterji completed his Doctoral degree from Centre for the
Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore. He is currently associated with the Department of Film Studies, Jadavpur University, Kolkata as a teaching faculty.
Throughout the decade, a number of visual motifs such as tree shades, hillsides, flowers and foliages alluded to the autonomy of this romantic space in relation to other social spaces depicted in the narrative.
