Call

February 13, 2014 | 1 min read

A short poem of remembrance.
And then they call again - To drift with you, friend
And then they call again –
To drift with you, friend

They call your name
In the dark I cry,
For how long, do I remember?

A day or a month –
I stifle,
I abhor the blinding nothing
I grope,

And then they call again –
To drift with you, friend.

(For my friend Mr. Dilip Chitre, poet who passed away on Dec 10, 2009)
