And the girls are the royal princesses too
“Dad, you are the best!” said my girls
And I saw that gleam in your eyes
The moment filled pride in my heart
And I fell in love again!
“Ouchh”, said I, throwing the kitchen knife
You came rushing and held my finger tight
I smiled with tears in my eyes
And I fell in love again!
I rushed through chores and books in hand
Had to study for my exams
You made the girls sleep on time
And I fell in love again!
You gave me a life like a queen
And the girls are the royal princesses too
What better would I get in life?
That you have given us through!
With every step that you take
With every move that you make
You sweep me off my feet
And I fall in love again…
