I took a bite from the apple of sin,
I wished to know what was within.
I wished for the taste of what was forbidden,
I wished for things that were hidden,
I sank my teeth in, and the juice flowed;
It tasted of heaven that I hadn’t known of.
It tasted of sweetness that was painful,
It tasted of paradoxes which were lustful.
It tasted of passion that was ethereal,
It tasted of love that was unconditional.
It tasted of the knowledge I had so desired,
It tasted of ecstasy filled with fire.
It was only one – that apple was solitary,
To reach its depths I was the one and only.
Its taste was complex and it was red,
To it eternally I was wed.

Really nice Kshithi. I loved it and could interpret the hidden meanings. Lovely.
