The Closed Door

July 1, 2014 | 1 min read

I ensconced myself with parlous disheartenment Cursing my destiny; I resolved to look high and low for a spare door
closed door
I was determined to nose out the open door

“Run! Run!” my inner voice kept vociferating,
Although I had no verve left to move
The door was shut hard before I could cross its threshold and
All I saw in front of me was the closed door

I banged on it with full pique
Knowing it would never reopen
Considerations of changing my route crossed my mind
But I was too stonkered to think of chasing another dream of mine

I ensconced myself with parlous disheartenment
Cursing my destiny; I resolved to look high and low for a spare door
Well I was not such a dimwit to not know
When one door closes, many others do open
We just need to keep our self focused on our aspiration

I was determined to nose out the open door
That was anticipating to usher in its little discoverer
Because all she’s seeing in front of her presently is the closed door.

I love reading novels, writing, listening to music and singing. I am a debater and orator too. I aspire to be a successful doctor! I, from my deepest core, wish to do something for the welfare of this world. It is so beautiful; we can’t let anyone ruin its beauty even a bit!
