Antaranga Durga Puja, Mayur Vihar-I, Delhi held its Painting Competition for Durga Puja 2013 on Sunday, Oct 6 at the Puja venue. Children from all ages participated with enthusiasm. The theme was Swami Vivekananda’s life and children were asked to depict any of the episodes of his life.
The participants ranging from 3-year-olds to teenagers drew various incidents of Swamiji’s life such as little Naren’s mother giving him a bath to calm the restless boy or the child Naren meditating and a snake slithering past him.
The paintings were labelled with the participant’s code number and the winners will be announced later as the Pujas progress.
