The Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) – the prestigious national and international literature event and the largest literary festival in Asia-Pacific – is scheduled to be held between January 17 – 21, 2013 at Diggi House, Sawai Ram Singh Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan (India).
The five-day festival will feature a wide range of activities including debates, performances, readings, talks, children’s workshops and interactive activities. The sixth edition of JLF which is now seen as the Kumbh Mela of Indian and international writing marks the presence of writers and readers from across India and abroad.

This year’s list of authors and other dignitaries has some renowned names including Jhumpa Lahiri, Amish Tripathi, Jerry Pinto, and Samantha Shannon along with boxer-turned author Mary Kom, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, actors Irrfan Khan and Rupert Everett, and the popular face of politics Shashi Tharoor.
Mary Kom, who has recently released her autobiography, will be seen sharing her views on literature and writing.
