My daughter Anandi loves the Tees I painted for her. Enjoy making your own Tee and feel happy wearing it.

I. Take a board and place it in between the front and the back of the Tee shirt.
II. Fix it properly with the help of clips on all four sides stretching it to get a flat paintable surface.
III. Draw a sketch of any object or favourite sayings or even your name in a decorative way.
IV. Use Fevicryl Acrylic paint and your brush.
V. For getting neat margins use a thinner brush and paint the borders / margins of your sketch. Keep it for drying.
VI. Fill in the inner parts with a broader brush without worrying about your colour to spread. It will not spread as you have already got your dry borders / margins.
VII. Complete painting using as many as colours you want to use.
VIII. When complete, keep it for drying for 24 hours.
IX. Take out the board, turn it inside out and give it an ironing of moderate heat on the back of your painted surface. This will fix it forever.

Remember these Fabric Painting Tips:

1. Keep your acrylic colour bottles tightly closed when you are not painting.
2. Wash your brushes with water immediately after painting.
3. While washing your Tee shirt avoid soaking it for long in soap water.
4. Prefer to dry in shade, away from direct sun.

Enjoy making your own Tee and feel happy wearing it.

If you have done one… share with all.
