Autism Awareness Special Edition I
By Deepti Singh

All make up a brilliant platter
There’s a world no different
As deep and as tall
With colours and voices myriad
But you think you know it all
Gold for you is metal and colour
But I can hear it speak
The birds call out to me, come pal
Though you’d say
They aimlessly squeak
The clouds, the breeze, the rains
All make up a brilliant platter
Only a raw naked soul
Could see them all splatter
Each soul has its own mark
The world prefers a tag
And the satisfied ego
Goes for a heady fag
You say something’s wrong
But I stand high and tall
There’s a world no different
And you think you know it all!
