Poetry

A poet’s soulful musing about the act of writing poems.
poems
Readers want eyes to read

Cut the extras

Make it simple

Readers want eyes to read

But poems have no such need

Words can speak

And hear their own sound

Let the mouth and ears be bound

A poem doesn’t need to move

Why should it have hooves?

Hands can go too

There is nothing that the poem has to do

Yes, keep it simple

A blind, deaf, mute, quadriplegic poem
