Some rare moments
spent with myself,
aromatic brew of coffee,
frozen yesterdays waft,
sepia hued memories
smile back
from pages of old album.
Dates are in a mad rush
In a blink
years have passed
Swirling worries
have filled the space
left behind by
giggly girlhood days,
streaming playful rays
of early morn.
Simple joys
stand alone,
like a quiet station
forlorn,
as the train
whooshes past.
Fast.
